| The potions master. Snape is godly. He's mean and terrible to everyone, but he's still one of the "good" guys. He tried to stop Quirrell in the Sorcerer's Stone, and he saved he Harry in that book too. It's funny how he tries to keep Harry alive, just so he can try to expel him later. They picked the perfect Snape for the movies too. | |

| I don't understand why people don't like him. Probably just because everyone is so caught up in Harry's awesomeness, that they forget. | |

| That's funny, because I HATE Harry. Who'da thunk it? I, like Snape, can't stand him.
I wonder if Snape would've lasted more than a year if he had gotten the DADA post earlier?

| Snape is pretty BAMF, I think the curse wouldn't have bothered him - he might have enjoyed it. | |

| XD That is incredibly true. He'd be like, "Oh death is chasing me? Ask him if he wants some tea." | |

| In all seriousness, I think Snape is a lot stronger a wizard than Rowling lets on. I mean, in the first book, he was practically trying to take on Voldemort! | |

| He tried to take him on in the last book too. But I won't say how. | |

| See, he's either stronger than we're supposed to think or incredibly stupid - and judging by his love of logic I'd say the answer is the first. | |

| Yeah he had loads of logic. He saved Harrys life so many times from Voldemort. He was sneeky with being a Death Eater too. | |

| Quite honestly, I loathed Snape until the 5th book. Now its been long enough that I'm used to his awesomeness. He's like a super genius or something...he would have made an awesome villain if it didn't totally destroy the plot. | |

| Snape loved Lily! D'awwwwahhawww. That clarified a lot of things, like why Snape hated Harry so much. He must of looked at Harry and wondered if he could have been Harry's father. Like I told Tess, the page where I found out what his Patronus was the same as Lily's was drenched in tears. I honestly hope that didn't water damage the book. So, while I hated Snape for a day, I now love him even more. And it's complete bull that a snake ripped his throat out...I mean c'mon! Every role Alan Rickman lands he gets his throat ripped out - e.g. Judge Turpin... He should have lived! Or at least died happy, like everyone else who dies. | |

Voldemort didn't die happy. I bet Bode, Grindelwald, and Charity Burbage weren't so thrilled, either. Not all good characters are happy ones, and I just can't picture Snape being...well, happy. He wouldn't be himself. Besides, I don't know how you would make him happy, Lily is dead.

| I can think of at two ways he would have died happy even with Lily dead. I think that if he saw Voldemort die, he'd have been elated, or even saw Nagini die. Or if Harry forgave him for what happened to his parents. | |

| Yah...maybe. But he was a pretty crabby person in general, even when he was little. | |
