Teddy Lupin

Who do you guys think he ended up living with: Harry and Ginny or Andromeda Tonks?

I haven't the slightest clue who ended up being his legal guardian, but I think traditionally, he would end up being with his grandmother -- kinda like Neville. I would prefer it that way anyway. Poor Andromeda lost EVERYTHING, the least she could have is Teddy. And then when she dies, if Teddy isn't of age, I think he would go with Harry and Ginny, considering that whole godparent thing.


What do you think? And what do you think about Teddy/Victoire?

I think he went with Andromeda. I mean she is his grandmother. And now his guardian. She lost her husband and Tonks, she should at least have her grandkid. And if she dies while he's underage he'll end up with Harry and Ginny.

Well they were together in the Epilogue, which is the only reason I say anything. 'Cause they were snoggin'. XD

Um...He was nineteen in the epilogue, so I guess 17 or 18 when James started at Hogwarts.

So do you think he just has his own house now? Maybe he can't cook, so he goes to Harry's for dinner.

Well, in the epilogue, probably. I imagine he woulda moved out when he could..unless Andy's one of the partially clingy types that would wanna keep him as long as possible without being over-bearing.

Maybe he visits the Potters occasionally? Or often? Just spends most of his time at his house. Would make sense, IMO.

I disagree. I think Teddy would have gone with Harry - that was the significance of Lupin making Harry the godfather almost right before he died (that and of course Harry convinced Lupin to grow a set and go back to his wife and baby).

I think the actual precedent in the Wizard World was that the godparent gets custody, right after Lily and James died Sirius asked Hagrid for Harry saying that it was his right he was godfather. I think that it was Dumbledore's arrangement that made that impossible.

I don't know about that. Harry didn't have any other wizard/witch relatives to go to, so naturally he would then go to his godfather before clueless muggles. I think it would really come down to whatever was in his parent's will. I think Teddy would have gone to his grandma's, because the book makes it sound like he never did live or does live with Harry. But I won't let go of my theory that he moved out at 17 anyways....because if I was an orphan that is what I would do.

If it was the parent's will that could be confusing. No doubt Remus would have wanted Harry to be with his son, since he convinced Remus to stay with Tonks. But Tonks is harder...she did say something about her mother being a twit for naming her Nymphadora in Order of the Phoenix. And she only seemed to stay with her when she was pregnant I got the impression she lived alone before then.
